I’ll be the first to admit that I was NOT a Warrior yesterday. It was a terrible, terrible day. I was hysterically crying more than once. But today is a new day.

Yesterday my live enzymes increased (not doubt related to the opiods with acetaminophen). Had to have a HIDA gallbladder scan and that meant NO pain meds, food, drinks all day until after the test. I was miserable. Then in nuclear medicine, I got left in my bed, without a call light and without power to the bed for 1 hour. The inflated mattress deflated until I was laying on the bed bars. I was literally trapped. I never thought about a situation like that. Completely trapped and unable to help myself. I can’t easily move in bed besides side to side using the bed rails. Some up and down with rails. There’s no popping up to sitting to get someone’s attention!

Came back after the test, got all the meds I missed and took a little nap. Bedtime was horrible due to muscle spasms in my back, especially between shoulder blades. Couldn’t get comfy to sleep despite all the meds. Finally Robaxin and oxycodone lined up together at 0630 and I got 1 hour of sleep.
